50 years of Rennmeister adult racing

Carrera and Jägermeister are celebrating 50 years of Jägermeister Motorsports with the Ford Capri Zakspeed Turbo ‘Jägermeister Racing Team, No.1’. It’s a slotcar that lives in the fast lane on every Carrera circuit. This stylish speed king in an orange livery was piloted by the German racing driver Klaus Ludwig from 1980 onwards in the old DRM championship, as he drifted round the bends, overtook every rival and shot over the line to see the chequered flag. The large tail wing was typical of the racing age, making the generally bulky design ideal for long distances. The 4-cylinder inline engine generated an unbelievable 600 hp.

To mark the Rennmeister racing car jubilee, a 1:24-scale replica of a 1970s classic has been sent out onto Carrera circuits in a bright orange livery. The zesty look guarantees the Ford Capri as much attention as it got back in the day! The no.1 Ford Capri Zakspeed Turbo slotcar is fitted with front, rear, brake and flashing lights and earns the attention with faithfully-reproduced details. The Carrera car is individually codable and digitally controllable, allowing it to be set to every individual driving style.
