Skala 1/8 Display Case for ex Volvo Amazon 122S fr IXO Collections

En riktigt snygg Displaylåda för dina bilar.
"Glasburen" är gjord i plast och ligger i en välskyddande låda.
Den är en byggsats och är alltså inte en helgjuten case, utan består av delar man sätter ihop.
Botten är i Mdf-skiva som är målad i en dov brunröd nyans som påminner om trä.
Väggarna och taket är gjorda i genomskinlig plast med spår utfrästa så att de passar ihop.
Man pressar ner de fyra sidorna i ett spår runt skivan samtidigt som de går i varandra. Den översta biten låser sedan skivorna på plats och blir en snygg enhet.
Vi märkte att man vid montage kan behöva fila ytterst lite på trä botten på ett ställe i ett hörn, max 1 mm, för att få ner "glas"skivorna i spåret.
Man bör ha viss teknisk vana för att sätta ihop vitrinen och vara försiktig, så går allt bra.

Denna Case är specialtillverkad för IXO Collections modeller i skala 1/8 såsom Peugeot 205, Porsche 917 och Volvo 122S Amazon, m.m.
På kartongen står det att den är gjord för Peugeot 205, men det beror på att den var först ut i denna serie av bilar i skala 1/8. Det är samma case till samtliga modeller.

Exempelbilen ingår självklart inte.

A really nice display box for your cars.
The "glass box" is made of plastic and is in a well-protected box.
It is a construction kit and is therefore not a completely molded case, but consists of parts that you put together.
The bottom is made of Mdf board which is painted in a dull brown-red shade reminiscent of wood.
The walls and ceiling are made of transparent plastic with grooves milled out so that they fit together.
The four sides are pressed down in a groove around the disc at the same time as they go into each other. The top piece then locks the discs in place and becomes a neat unit.
We noticed that during assembly you may have to file very little on the wooden bottom in one place in a corner, max 1 mm, to get the "glass" sheets down into the groove.
You should have some technical experience to assemble the display case and be careful, and everything will go well.

This Case is specially made for IXO Collection models in scale 1/8 such as Peugeot 205, Porsche 917 and Volvo 122S Amazon, etc.
The box says it's made for the Peugeot 205, but that's because it was the first in this series of 1/8 scale cars. It is the same case for all models.

The example car is of course not included.
