Skala 1/18 VW 1303 Cabriolet 1972 Black fr Norev

VW 1303 har sitt ursprung i ett amerikanskt lagförslag, som slutligen inte tillämpades. Detta lagförslag krävde bland annat ett minsta avstånd mellan vindrutan och förarens huvud, vilket bara kunde uppnås i Bubblan med böjd vindruta. VW byggde fordonet ändå – och marknadsförde det i USA som "Superbubblan".
I motsats till den tidens anda var svart en av de mer populära färgerna på 1303 Cabriolet. Tillsammans med en tobaksfärgad interiör och vita paneler uppnådde Norev ett utsökt utseende.

The VW 1303 has its origins in an American draft law, which was ultimately not applied. This draft law required, among other things, a minimum distance between the windscreen and the driver's head, which could only be achieved in the Beetle with a curved windscreen. VW built the vehicle anyway - and marketed it in the USA as the ‘Super-Beetle’.
Contrary to the zeitgeist of the time, black was one of the more popular colours on the 1303 Cabriolet. Paired with a tobacco-coloured interior and white panels, the Norev achieved an exquisite appearance.
